Our flagship programme, Zindagi Fellowship, is a transformative fellowship that supports women, queer, non-binary, and trans persons from Dalit, Bahujan, Adivasi, Nomadic and Denotified communities to build confidence, strengthen leadership, and explore sustainable livelihood pathways through entrepreneurship and employment.
The fellowship combines personal development, digital literacy, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and job readiness to enable fellows to build independent and meaningful futures.

Project Mukti is seeking an experienced Business Entrepreneurship Training Consultant to design, facilitate, and mentor fellows through the Business Entrepreneurship Training (BET) component of the Zindagi Fellowship.
This is a short-term consultancy (4–5 months) intended for professionals who have experience in entrepreneurship education, business incubation, startup mentoring, livelihood development, or enterprise training with an intersectional lens.
We understand that experienced professionals often work across multiple assignments. Therefore, this consultancy is intentionally designed to provide flexibility outside scheduled training sessions and agreed deliverables.
The consultant will be responsible for planning and facilitating online learning sessions, supporting fellows in developing their business ideas, coordinating periodically with the fellowship team, and submitting a comprehensive report upon completion of the engagement.

The consultant will:
Programme Planning
Review the Business Entrepreneurship Training curriculum and contextualize it for Zindagi Fellowship participants.
Prepare detailed session plans, learning activities, assignments, and practical exercises.
Adapt content according to fellows’ learning needs and diverse educational backgrounds.
Recommend additional resources, case studies, and practical tools where appropriate.
Facilitation
Conduct engaging online sessions through Google Meet.
Deliver interactive, learner-centred classes using discussions, activities, case studies, and reflective exercises.
Create an inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence.
Support fellows in translating ideas into feasible business opportunities.
Mentoring & Learning Support
Guide fellows through the process of:
Understanding entrepreneurship
Identifying business opportunities
Conducting basic market research
Developing business models
Creating marketing strategies
Costing and pricing
Financial planning
Preparing business plans
Pitching business ideas
Provide constructive feedback on assignments and business plans.
Encourage critical thinking and practical application of concepts.
Coordination
Coordinate with the Zindagi Fellowship team regarding session schedules, participant progress, and programme needs.
Attend occasional online or in-person planning meetings with the Project Mukti team when required.
Communicate proactively regarding timelines and deliverables.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain brief documentation of sessions conducted.
Share feedback on participant engagement and learning progress.
Submit a final report that includes:
Summary of sessions delivered
Learning outcomes
Participant engagement and progress
Key observations
Challenges encountered
Recommendations for strengthening future Business Entrepreneurship Training.

The consultant will be expected to deliver:
Session plans and facilitation materials.
Online Business Entrepreneurship Training sessions as per the fellowship schedule.
Assignments and practical learning activities.
Feedback on participant learning.
Participation in occasional planning meetings.
Final consultancy report at the conclusion of the assignment.

This is a hybrid consultancy with flexible working arrangements.
The consultant will be expected to:
Conduct scheduled online sessions through Google Meet.
Prepare adequately for each session.
Coordinate with the programme team as required.
Attend occasional team meetings.
Complete agreed deliverables within the consultancy timeline.
Attend in Person graduation Ceremony of the fellows.
Apart from scheduled sessions and agreed deadlines, the consultant is free to organize their working hours independently.

Eligibility:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Management, Development Studies, Commerce, Economics, Social Entrepreneurship, or related disciplines.
Relevant professional certifications in entrepreneurship, incubation, startup ecosystems, or enterprise development are desirable.
Skills & Competencies
The ideal consultant should demonstrate:
Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
Strong presentation and online training skills.
Ability to simplify business concepts for first-generation entrepreneurs.
Experience using participatory and learner-centred teaching methods.
Strong mentoring and coaching abilities.
Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Report writing and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a programme team.
Sensitivity towards issues of gender, caste, social exclusion, and intersectionality.

We are looking for someone who has:
Experience facilitating entrepreneurship or business development training.
Experience working with early-stage entrepreneurs, youth, women-led enterprises, self-help groups, or community-based businesses.
Experience mentoring participants in developing business ideas and business plans.
Strong understanding of business fundamentals including market research, marketing, costing, pricing, financial planning, and business strategy.
Experience designing participatory learning experiences for adult learners.
Experience working with organizations in the social sector, livelihood programmes, or entrepreneurship ecosystems will be an added advantage.
