Project Mukti is seeking a dynamic Communications Manager (Social Media) to join its team. As the Communications Manager, you will be responsible for creating a brand image that communicates, externally and internally, information promoting our vision and mission, and our services. If you have a passion for storytelling, love crafting engaging content, and are well-versed in the intricacies of various social media platforms, this role is tailor-made for you.

Communications Strategy & Design
Develop and implement effective communication strategies across digital and offline platforms.
Design innovative solutions for audience engagement, outreach, and visibility.
Align communications with organizational goals and campaigns.
Content Creation & Management
Create and manage compelling content (social media posts, newsletters, reports, press releases, blogs).
Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and branding across platforms.
Collaborate with program teams to highlight stories, updates, and impact.
Technical Development & Digital Tools
Build, manage, and maintain digital communication platforms (website, email systems, analytics dashboards).
Integrate tools for audience engagement, data tracking, and reporting.
Optimize systems for effective communication workflows and campaign management.
Stakeholder Engagement
Maintain effective communication with partners, media, and stakeholders.
Design workflows for regular updates, reports, and relationship building.
Track and analyze engagement trends to improve outreach.
Campaigns & Events
Plan and execute communication campaigns for events, programs, and initiatives.
Provide technical and creative support during events, including live streaming, media coverage, and online engagement.
Reporting & Analysis
Monitor and report on communication campaign outcomes and reach.
Provide insights and recommendations for improving communications strategies.
Maintain records and dashboards of media, social, and outreach performance.

Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Media, Development Studies, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
2–4 years of experience in communications, social media management, or digital content creation (experience in the nonprofit/education/social impact sector is preferred).
Proven ability in graphic design (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar tools).
Experience in website design and management ( Squarespace or equivalent platforms).

This position is offered on a full-time, one-year contract basis, with benefits available after successfully completing a three-month probationary period. You will report directly to the Executive Director in this role.
